Coopers Bakehouse is a bakery in Sunnybank, Brisbane. Launched on 3 September, it now serves Vietnamese inspired breakfast and lunch on the weekends.
It's a family business and I had a chat to daughter Lisa. Monday to Friday she works as an architect. But on the weekends, she's able to help out at Coopers Bakehouse. The bakery used to close on the weekend and her mum would cook pho for the family. Then they decided it was a good opportunity to use the space on weekends as well!
Lisa says their best sellers are the pho, ribs and pork meatballs. I went in their second week of trading and tried out the pho, ribs and the banh mi. We loved the Vietnamese coffee!
Check out the gorgeous fitout designed by Lisa!
