Canberra top 3 meals in March

What were the three best meals you had last month in Canberra? I have my favourite places that I frequent time and time again, but I like to discover new restaurants or places I've never been to before. So I've decided to select my top 3 dishes that I had in March and share them with you, in the hope that you'll do the same!

1. Dessert dish - Grazing

Made by Head Chef Kurt Neumann, this was a divine dessert and I will never do it justice, no matter how I describe it. It was a white chocolate mousse with almond milk sorbet, fresh seasonal fruit, roasted milk crumbs and chocolate mousse filled wafer. All the components tasted delicious on their own, but together, it was a beautifully orchestrated dessert.

2. Beef tartare - Sage

I am a sucker for beef tartare. It is up there with my love of oysters. The mixture of the raw beef with coriander and lightly pickled kholrabi, peanut praline and the ABC aioli instantly reminded me of a very fancy beef satay. Check out my full review of Sage Dining Rooms.

3. Spit-roasted meals - Wood and Coal

A friend and I went for a quick dinner at Wood and Coal before going to the Canberra Theatre. We ordered the 6 hour spit-roasted yearling lamb and the 6 hour spit-roasted suckling pig. Both came with greek rice and lemon. Both were incredibly tasty meals. The service was efficient and friendly - the perfect pre-show dinner.
