The ceremony started at midday and took place on the bride's family property.
Canapés and drinks were served while the bridal party were taking official photos.
According to the bride, Taste Catering were the ones that were hired to cater during Prince Charles and his wife Camilla's visit to Tasmania in November last year!
Much to my delight, there was a definite focus on fresh seafood.
Platters of the most delicious scallops kept enticing us, as did the arancini balls. The sauces tasted divine - the texture was silky smooth without being cloying.
Other canapés that came our way were pieces of bread with salmon on top and egg pies (though there was slight confusion as to whether they were quiches).
It was a lunch reception and I really liked that the food was presented as sharing plates. I love trying a bit of everything (rather than getting a plate of only one type of food). All of the food that I tried was incredibly fresh and flavoursome. The fish and meat were cooked to perfection as well. And don't get me started on the scrumptious desserts...
What a wonderful way to celebrate such a joyous occasion. Congratulations again, my friends!
