Join Pod Food, Red Brick Espresso and Fleur Studd from Melbourne Coffee Merchants for a four course breakfast degustation matched with the character and profile of one of the world's most unique coffee origins, Bolivia.
Amazing flavours in each course will be matched with different brew techniques and coffees to give an insight into the journey of Bolivian coffee from farm to cup.
Bolivian coffees offer so much versatility and diversity in their flavour profiles. Some have straight-up sugar cane sweetness, with balanced acidity, silky mouthfeel and heavy chocolate body. Others are more complex and winey, with delicious notes of berries and butterscotch bursting from the cup.
Working with Bolivian coffee has some amazingly positive impacts on the farms and communities that produce it. We will explore why supporting Bolivian coffee is more important than ever and what is being done to ensure its survival and long-term sustainability in the years to come.
